Nursing facility a true beginning to bring jobs back

To the editor:

Even though the weather was bad, I would like to say thanks to all the people who showed a true interest in the future of our city by making the effort to be there.

This facility is a true beginning to bring jobs back to our city.

We also will be able to have our loved ones near us so they can still feel they are part of our families.

I was glad so many city,state and county officials were on hand. This shows everyone has a concern for the well-being of Dowagiac.

also would like to say thanks to all the staff of Borgess-Lee for taking the time to be there.

We have seen a vision start to come true.

Think about 100 jobs at the nursing home and the income of the local suppliers and all other indirect jobs that can come from this venture.
