Land Bank Authority renovates two city lots

CASSOPOLIS – The Cass County Land Bank Authority has purchased and cleared two lots in the City of Dowagiac.

The Cass County Land Authority purchased these tax-foreclosed properties at 106 Halstead St. and 503 N. Front Street.  The structures have been removed from both sites.The mission of the Land Bank Authority is to reduce blight and enhance its communities by increasing property value and economic opportunity through the acquisition and redevelopment of foreclosed, vacant and abandoned properties.

That can be accomplished through collaboration and open communication with community organizations, local governmental units and the public.
