Short ‘hit the nail on the head’

To the editor:

I want to congratulate Bob Short on his letter to the editor, “City spending with loss of job base bewildering” (Dec. 23).

He hit the nail on the head.

I just wish he had ended his letter with, “Now how do I go about getting the city manager’s job?”

I also want to say that I find it a crying shame that after the City of Dowagiac fought so hard to get this ambulance service it is now homeless.

Shame on the City of Dowagiac.
